Let’s take a look,
At a garden with plants,
Its flowers are blooming,
So magnificent!
You may wonder just how,
Did this beauty all grow?
Did the flowers always stand so
upright and tall?

But not long ago,
Not that far away,
The garden looked different,
Devoid and so grey,
So much opportunity,
In each of the seeds,
And now they just had to put in their effort to succeed!

Chorus:
But the sunshine came down,
And the raindrops did fall,
And the seeds worked to drink it all in,
Doing their best to try hard and succeed,
To secure roots, to grow through the weeds!

After days, after weeks, after months of hard work,
The flowers stand upright and tall,
Their colors so radiant, shining aglow,
And roots that are planted secure!

My dearest students,
You all are those plants,
Your flowers are blooming,
So magnificent!
All your colors do shine,
And when you all combine,
You form a special garden that’s one
of a kind!

But not long ago,
Not that far away,
The garden looked different,
In the beginning of 6th grade!
So much opportunity,
In each of the seeds,
You had to utilize your potential, put in effort to succeed!

Chorus:
And the sunshine came out,
And the raindrops did fall,
As you drank in the lessons we learned!
You toiled and you worked and you all did your best,
And this garden proclaims your success!

After days, after weeks, after months of hard work,
The flowers stand upright and tall,
Their colors so radiant, shining aglow,
And roots that are planted secure!

I will always remember this garden of girls,
For each one of you’s a flower so tall,
I know you’ll continue to invest and to grow,
In this beautiful garden
